Yes, that's correct, I'm an aunt! Abigail Grace was born on February 28 at 9:57am. She was 7lbs. 9oz. and 21" long. She is healthy and adorable! Suzanne was in labor for about 12 hours (from the time she got to the hospital until delivery) and is doing well. We arrived at the hospital around 2:30pm and had the opportunity to spend some time with them and Bethany before the rest of the family arrived. She is so precious. I had the chance to hold her for a long time. That is until David got her...he did not want to give her up.
We've ended up with 5 snow days so far, and I think it might be the end to those glorious days. This past week was the first five-day week we've had since last semester, and it was rough to get through. This week is a typical week and then the following week is the ACT/MME test. After that, only 3 weeks until spring break! So, essentially 5 weeks until some time off, but I only have 20 more full days of teaching until break. When we come back, we only have 6 weeks and then exams. Don't get me wrong, I love my job, but the summer is wonderful! I think more than anything it is my desire for the snow to be gone.
With summer approaching, we are doing a competition to get in shape. It's complicated but the person who loses the biggest percent of their body fat percent wins! We'll see how it goes...
