I never really knew where I would find myself after college. I most definitely didn't think I'd get married a month after graduation, but the Lord knew better. I was told the job market in West Michigan was difficult, but the Lord provided a place. I tried not to become a teacher, but the Lord showed me my passion. Needless to say, the Lord has shown His ultimate wisdom and faithfulness.
The Lord has put me in an incredible place where I have been challenged in so many ways. I can't go into many details due to the sensitivity of the matter, but I have encountered numerous women with a passion for the Lord and numerous others who need Him desperately. It's amazing to see the Lord at work in people's lives.
We've been married for a bit now, and as we expect our first niece in February, the idea of children presents itself. Sometimes I find myself eager for that time, but I am incredibly happy with life how it is now. We have some time to wait while things with school and work get figured out, but I'm looking forward to being a mom (and I know David will be a wonderful dad).
On to a relaxing evening...
